Samarthanam believes in “An inclusive society free from discrimination, where persons with disabilities become contributing members living with dignity and respect”. Samarthanam identifies artistic talent among people with disabilities, imparts training to perfect their skills, and provides a stage to showcase the talent. “SUNADHA,” founded in 1999, is a group of artists with disabilities who excel in classical, folk dances, and music. They have performed on various State, National and International platforms, garnering applause and appreciation. Performing arts for these dancers is not just a passion but a means of earning their livelihoods. Sunadha is a successful medium to enhance awareness about the unique abilities of artists with disabilities. We are a Visually Challenged Musical band and a dance troupe comprising of visually challenged and Speech and Hearing Impaired dancers.
